Each Lesson in the Student’s Book is a double-page spread that can be completed within the standard 90-120 minutes of classroom time. The Student’s Book contains a comprehensive Workbook section: a vast resource of further exercises in the areas of grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, speaking and writing that extend from the contents of each lesson. The course book also contains a Ready for the Exams! component, which provides the student with on-topic pages of exercises dedicated to the major competitive exams that they may wish to take in the future. But that’s not all. Students also have an invaluable resource in the Writing Skill-Set, which covers twelve different kinds of texts they may be required to produce during their academic, personal, and professional lives. And of course, if anyone needs to clarify grammar points, Elevate! features a supplementary Grammar Bank section for each Lesson.

Biografia degli autori

Jacopo D’Andria Ursoleo è un esperto di TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) e di Language Testing. Ha maturato una solida esperienza nella preparazione di studenti italiani alle certificazioni linguistiche più diffuse. È autore di numerosi manuali di lingua inglese per la scuola secondaria di primo e secondo grado.

Kate Gralton è docente di inglese nell’area di Bologna dove tiene corsi di Business English. Da alcuni anni collabora come consulente linguistica per l’Università di Bolzano e lavora come autrice, editor e redattrice freelance di testi scolastici di lingua inglese per vari ordini di scuola.

Michael Lacey Freeman lavora nel settore ELT da oltre 30 anni sia come docente universitario che come autore. È uno storyteller per passione che ama viaggiare per l’Italia per raccogliere materiale per le sue storie, e diffondere il messaggio che la parola è potente. È autore di numerosi testi di Graded Readers, uno di questi, pluripremiato, è molto diffuso nelle scuole (Egghead, dedicato ai temi del bullismo e dell’amico immaginario) e di un libro di testo di General English per la scuola superiore di secondo grado.
